The Kalaweit Project was founded in 1999 by a Frenchman named Chanee, to help and rescue the captive Gibbons in Indonesia, and to protect rain forests destroyed by palm oil companies. Their aim is to release the Gibbons back into the wild after much needed rehabilitation. Kalaweit fights against palm oil deforestation, creates wildlife reserves, schools, and provides medical care. Kalaweit also integrates the local population at all levels of the project - all 50 of their employees are locals! You can help by donating, or by adopting a Gibbon at www.kalaweit.org.
Wildlife Arc are a volunteer organisation that rescues and cares for injured or orphaned native animals on the Central Coast Australia. A portion of our Furless sales will be donated to ARC in order to increase awareness to the cause.
